About Rent
The
Government giver their land and Building for lease rent to non-commercial,
commercial purpose as per RSO 24 for minimum
3 year to maximum 20 years.
The present
lease rent is 7% of the land cost for non-Commercial purpose and 14 % for
commercial purpose. These lease rent is revisable once in 3 years.
Monetary
limit of officer for leasing
- Tahsildar- Nil
- Revenue Divisional officer (RDO) – 20,000
- District Revenue Officer (DRO) – 50,000
- District collector – 50,000
- Commissioner of land Administration – till 2 Lakhs.
About Lease:
Government
leased out its lands, building to a private individual or institutions or
others for a particular period for non-agricultural purpose as per RSO 24A.
The Maximum
period of leasing should not exceed more than 3 years. The lease rent should be
1 Per cent of the market value which excludes local cess, surcharge for non -remunerative
purpose and 2 per cent for remunerative purpose. These lease rent should revise
once in 3 years.

- Government – more than 2 Lakhs
