1, The Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2016 passed in Rajya Sabha.

Rajya Sabha has passed the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Bill, it was already passed in lokh Sabha last year.

The Bill amends the Enemy property Act,1968, for the person who migrated to Pakistan and China baring them to take over their properites

2.India’s Lost Chandrayaan-1 found orbiting Moon by NASA

India’s first lunar mission Chandrayaan-1 which was believed lost, is still orbiting the moon by NASA Scientists. ISRO lost communication with Chandrayaan-1 on August 29,2009 after its launch on October 28,2008

3.Odisha, Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand come together for Elephant census.

Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand have come together to conduct a Elephant Census between May 9 and May 12. The day was selected specifically to sighting the Elephant expected to be easier on night due to Full moon light..

4, Tipu Sultan’s Armoury relocated.

Tipu Sultan’s Armoury has been relocated about 20 m from the distance which was originally located, paving way for the construction of Mysore and Bengaluru railway track.
