Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ programme
The Minister of State (HRD), Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey in a written reply to a Lok Sabha question said that ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ programme aims to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and union territories with the objective of promoting mutual understanding amongst them.
Currently 20 States/ union territories have signed MoUs and all States have been advised to draw up Action Plans for implementing selected joint activities in the year 2017.
About the Programme
The programme is conducted every year, programme will make State or union territroy to paired with another State or union territory or reciprocal interaction between the people.
The programme will help to exchange the knowledge of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between one another, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of our country.
