1.Supreme court bans Bharat Stage
III vehicles
Supreme Court has banned the
selling and registering of Bharat Stage III norms vehicles from April 1, 2017. Supreme
Court Judges said that vehicles that are not BS-IV compliant should not sell by
any manufacturer or dealers from April 1, 2017. People’s health is more
important than the commercial interest.
BS VI standard norms vehicle
will cut down the emission drastically by half comparing to BS III vehicles.
2.Kanha tiger reserve
becomes first in India get official mascot- Bhoorsingh the Barasingha
Kanha Tiger reserve becomes
the first tiger reserve in India to officially introduce a Mascot-Bhoorsing
the Barasinga. BArasinga is a swamp deer, the initiative is to spread the
awareness to save Swamp deep from possible extinction.
The Kanha Tiger Reserve is
in Madhya Pradesh spread over Mandla and
Balaghat District. It is the only place where the swamp deer exist.
3.Bob Dylan will receive
Nobel prize .
Bob Dylan will finally
receive the Nobel Prize for literature which was announced on October 2016.
