1.Justice JS Khehar took over as Chief Justice of
India.
Justice Jagdish Sing Khehar has sworn as the 44th Chief
Justice of India by succeeding Justice TS Thakur. He is born in 28 august 1952
and he is a judge of Supreme Court since September 2011. He is popularly known
as Non-Nonsense Judge.
Eligible as supreme court chief Justice
Senior most judge of the Supreme court will become
Chief justice of Supreme court.
Eligible as Judge of High Court.
1, He
should be a citizen of India.
2. He
should have been a judge of a high court or he should bhave been an advocate of
high court for 10years or he should be a distinguished jurist in the opinion of
the president.
There
is no minimum age prescribed for appointment of supreme court judge
2.Swachh Suvekshan-2017 was launched by Government of
India.
Minister of Urban Development Shri M.Venkairah
Nadiru has launched Swachh Suvekshan-2017 along 500 cities.
Swachh Suvekshan is
aimed to rank 500 cities and towns based on levels of sanitation and efforts
made by local bodies and also to achieving 'Open Defecation Free' Status.
