India Sccessfully lunched the GSAT-9 Satellite.
India Successfully launched communication satellite GSAT-9 also known as South Asia Satellite using its Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F09) Rocket.
GSAT-9 is a New Delhi's Gift to the SAARC nation as committed by Prime minister Narendra Modi in during SAARC summit in 2014.

M P Nirmala, Retired Senior bureaucrat has been appointed as the Chairperson of Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TNCPCR).
